Sarah D’Angelo has gathered some of her favorite all-star musicians to celebrate Earth Day. Every year, on April 22, Earth Day marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement and the celebration of our beautiful planet. Songs about the natural world, have been around since the earliest musical traditions, and many of the greatest songwriters have penned compositions about the planet on which we all exist. Earth Day songs range from political warnings to songs written in celebration of our planet’s beauty. Sarah will be drawing from her classical roots strait through to the present with tunes of Aaron Copland, Freddie Hubbard, Duke Ellington, Esperanza Spalding. Miles Davis, Johannes Brahms and Geri Allen!
