Lisa studied at Temple University with Terell Stafford\, and Thomas Lawton\, and completed her graduate studies at NYU with Ron McClure\, and Don Friedman.  \nShe was recently sponsored by JSJA and had a successful Indonesia\, Korea\, and Vietnam tour. Lisa Sung Trio was featured in CNN Indonesia\, where they played a variety of Indonesian Children's Songs and music from Lisa Sung’s latest album Half Moon. Lisa's passion is to interpret Asian Melodie into jazz. Her latest album Half Moon consists of traditional Korean children's songs. \nMs. Sung is an adjunct professor at Calvin University and Aquinas College. She also directs Calvin University’s jazz band and co-directs the gospel choir. This fall\, Ms. Sung began her Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) program at the University of Michigan and was honored with the prestigious Rachem Merit Fellowship. Lisa studied at Temple University with Terell Stafford\, and Thomas Lawton\, and completed her graduate studies at NYU with Ron McClure\, and Don Friedman.  \nShe was recently sponsored by JSJA and had a successful Indonesia\, Korea\, and Vietnam tour. Lisa Sung Trio was featured in CNN Indonesia\, where they played a variety of Indonesian Children's Songs and music from Lisa Sung’s latest album Half Moon.
