Von Roderick is a former member of the New York Trumpet Ensemble\, as led by Gould. Former members of the ensemble include trumpet virtuoso and founder\, Gerard Schwarz. While living in New York City\, Matt also performed with the Saturday Night Live Band.  \nVon Roderick has enjoyed working with many of the most respected names in jazz and beyond\, including Jon Batiste\, Brad Mehldau\, Neil Diamond\, Dionne Warwick\, and Super Furry Animals.
