He has been featured in prominent events such as the Detroit Jazz Festival and the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Festival. Jauron won the 2024 Michigan Jazz Festival Rising Horn Competition and the Detroit Jazz Festival’s International Combo competition. He also toured Japan at just 19 years old. Working with his own band\, the Jauron Perry Quintet\, he performs with them around Michigan and is working towards breaking into other scenes across the country.
