  • 314 S. Main Street Ann Arbor, Michigan, 48104 United States (map)

There is a $10 cover at the door for this show.

The Pollux Quartet is a newly-formed BAM (Black American Music) collective featuring reedist Alvin Page, pianist Brendon Davis, bassist Laura Simone-Martin, and percussionist Sarah Whitaker. This band regularly features vocalist Rockelle Whitaker. Although members originate from both east and west coasts, they formed their musical relationship participating as bandmates in the Midwest through programs such as The Gathering Orchestra in Detroit, MI or in attendance at Michigan State University. Their common love for the art-form is not the only thing that draws them together, it is also their zodiac sign Gemini. The star Pollux happens to be the brightest star in the constellation of Gemini, and with the music as their guide, they hope to forge a path within the music industry.
