Jack Nissen is a bassist from New Providence, New Jersey who recently graduated from the University of Michigan in May 2024. While in school, Jack studied with esteemed bassists Robert Hurst, Alexander Claffy, and Maestro Ron Carter. He also performed regularly throughout his entire college career with dozens of artists and groups around the entire state of Michigan.

Since graduating, Jack has moved back to the east coast to pursue a career as a professional musician in New York City. He has played numerous venues in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and New Jersey ranging in styles from jazz, funk, R&B, and rock.
