Lisa Sung is a highly accomplished and versatile pianist with expertise in both classical and jazz music. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Piano Performance from Temple University, Philadelphia, and a Master's degree in Jazz Performance from New York University. Her education includes mentorship under renowned figures like Ron McClure, Dave Schroeder, Thomas Lawton, Don Friedman, and Don Glanden.

Lisa’s impressive musical career encompasses collaborations with prominent artists such as Terrel Stafford, Rodney Whitaker, Stafford Hunter, and many more. Noteworthy achievements include recording an album featuring Korean children's songs and currently working on her second album, dedicated to Korean old pop songs from the 1960s. Lisa has made significant contributions to the musical landscape in Grand Rapids, serving as the music director for the Calvin University Gospel Choir, teaching jazz piano at Hope College and Calvin University, and being a regular participant in the Central Michigan University jazz faculty concert series.
