William is an up-and-coming musician from Ann Arbor, Michigan. He has been studying piano since the age of 5. He was classically trained for 10 years, and played his first gig when he was 12. At the age of 15, he met the pianist/teacher Tad Weed, who mentored him in jazz and improvisation. He went to study at Wayne State, mentored by pianist Cliff Monear.

As a freelance pianist, he has had the honor of sharing the stage with many notable performances including Billy Childs, Bernard “Pretty” Purdie, Liberty Devitto, Jon Hendricks, Paquito D’Rivera, Louis Prima Jr., and more. He has performed and toured with various bands all over the country, including an appearance on the nationally syndicated morning television show Breakfast Television.

He performs every week at Weber’s Inn in Ann Arbor, and also regular plays at The Earle, The Chop House, and The Blue Llama. I’m 2023, he was featured as a solo artist at the Michigan Jazz Festival.

He is currently working on his debut album “Happiness in a Minor Key”.
