A man adjusting his tie.

Robert McCarther is a singer/songwriter whose smooth vocals and ability to “swing” is bound to set anybody’s stage on fire. He has performed throughout the U.S. and Canada and worked with Jazz Masters including Sonny Stitt, Donald Walden, and Grammy award winning Kamau Kenyatta. His ensemble includes world class musicians, who have themselves headlined on this very stage.

Natives of the Detroit Metropolitan area, a crucible of Jazz, this ensemble includes:

Marion Hayden one of the nation’s finest proponents of the acoustic bass. Mentored by master trumpeter Marcus Belgrave, Hayden has performed with such luminaries as Bobby McFerrin, Nancy Wilson, and more.

Buddy Budson has been playing Jazz piano for more than 40 years backing well-known performers including Henry Mancini, Mel Torme and Sammy Davis Jr.

Nate Winn is a consummate drummer who has had the pleasure to work with many well known musicians such as Danilo Perez, Robert Hurst, and Pat Metheny.

Dwight Adams is a soul-inspired jazz trumpeter whom for more than 2 decades has played stages worldwide with the likes of Motown legend Stevie Wonder, and other renown jazz artists including Marcus Belgrave, Rodney Whitaker and Donald Walden.

Vincent Bowens is a soulful saxophonist who has graced stages and recorded with such greats as Roy Brooks, Marcus Belgrave, Kenny Cox and more.

Amin Reeves, on percussions, has traveled the world as drummer and road manager for his sister, well-known Motown group Martha Reeves and The Vandellas. His rhythmic accents add colorful personality to this already smoking ensemble.
